What does a tech lead do for a concrete contractor?
They came to us about a website. Some of what needed fixing wasn’t on the website at all.
It started as a website.
DH Construction & Concrete is a concrete contractor. Before building them anything, we wanted to know how the business actually runs: where jobs come from, which work they want more of, and which tools they really use day to day.
That’s how the email came up: it ran on a different domain from the business. We moved it onto their own.
Their site was a rented template, and most of what was wrong with it came from the platform writing content automatically. None of it was their doing.
What we measured before changing anything
What we took on
Each piece came out of the same conversations about how they work. Some were decisions, some were builds. The website was one of five.
Someone looking at the whole picture.
A concrete contractor needs someone on their side who learns how the business runs, works through the tech decisions with them, builds what fits, and is still there when something needs changing.
