RidgeX Ventures is a small team of designers, developers and business analysts, with more than thirty years of experience between us.
Small is the feature, not the apology. It is why the person who scopes your work is the person who does it.
What that means when you hire us
You talk to the people doing the work. Nothing gets handed down to somebody junior once the paperwork is signed, and you do not spend the first month explaining your organization a second time to a team you have not met.
It also means we say no. We take on what we can do properly, and when that is not this quarter, you will hear that on the first call rather than find out in month three. A firm that is always available is a firm with people it needs to keep busy.
The disciplines matter more than the headcount
Most of what goes wrong with a small organization’s website is not a coding problem. It is that nobody ever wrote down what the thing was supposed to do, so it got built to a guess, and the guess is what everyone is now living with.
Business analysis is the part most web shops skip, because it is unglamorous and it happens before anything visible exists. It is also the reason a project gets rebuilt twice. We do it first, in writing, and it is why our estimates hold.
Where we came from
RidgeX Ventures LLC does digital consulting, web development and analytics work. The bench comes out of federal and public sector delivery as much as commercial work, which is why the procurement side of a municipal engagement is familiar rather than an obstacle.
